In my practice, I facilitate the process of awareness, acceptance,  and change; empowering people to embrace and cope with challenges and conflict more effectively. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing techniques from REBT, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
I believe each individual is whole and unique.  A combination of different approaches has worked for me personally, and that is the same I take into my sessions and tailor it to the needs of clients while staying within the scope of my strengths as mentioned above.
Having experienced life's ups and downs and working through them myself, I believe it is never too late to tune in to understand and change patterns that might not be working for us. It takes courage to seek help and commit to the process of mental and emotional well-being. Stress, anxiety, anger, and the like, are consequences of the way we perceive and react to situations. Counseling helps to understand why we experience and respond to life's events the way we do, in a safe nonjudgemental space.
